Refreshing a 90s PSA campaign with a financial literacy twist.

Ever wondered why schools crammed us with random facts but skipped the essentials of managing money? 🤔 It’s a common frustration that we’re taught a lot of things, but personal finance often gets left out.

During Financial Literacy Month, MoneyLion changed that by giving the iconic 90s PSA campaign "The More You Know" a major glow-up. We focused on the financial basics that many of us missed out on in school, delivering the practical money tips and skills that should have been part of our education from the start.

We kicked off our campaign with a thought-provoking question.

We crafted dozens of short videos highlighting the pointless stuff we learned in school versus the financial basics we actually needed.

The art direction was pure 90s nostalgia with a cool, retro twist. Pressed for time, we used A.I. to create all the images.
